I understand that by accepting the title and responsibility of "co-signer", I am accepting the responsibility of the lease agreement made by the tenant in the event they do not honour their agreement. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Financial responsibility for rent

• Financial responsibility for any damages to the suite of residence or damages to any other buildings or property caused by the tenant(s), whether by intent or by neglect.

• Financial responsibility associated with costs incurred should the tenant choose to leave prior to the end of the lease agreement without adequate notice or without an adequate sublease being signed.

• Respecting all requirements outlined in the lease agreement signed by the tenant.

I agree to pay any amounts owed by the tenant(s) within 3 business days of being notified by the landlord (written or verbal) by confirmed funds (cash, money order or certified cheque), directly to the landlord, should the tenant not honour their agreement.

I understand that the tenant's residence may be revoked should I notify the landlord in writing that I will no longer be maintaining my status as a co-signer

I understand that this document is in effect from the date signed below and will be renewed automatically yearly as the lease agreement is renewed. I understand that this agreement is in effect until such time s written notice has been given to change my status as co-signer.

I have read, understand and agree with this document. By printing/typing my name and/or sign below, I am committing to the above indicated responsibilities. I understand that I must give three months notice in writing directly to the landlord if I choose to rescind my status as co-signer.
